HOLLY BAUM, Past Chapter President, has served the Western New York Chapter in various capacities, including as a State and Local Director. She also has chaired or been an active member of numerous committees on both the state and local levels. Ms. Baum is a cum laude graduate of University at Buffalo Law School, where she has been an adjunct faculty member. Upon graduation in 1988, she was the recipient of the Adolf Homberger Law Alumni Association Award and the National Association of Women Lawyers Award as Outstanding Law Graduate. Ms. Baum received an M.A. in American Studies/Women Studies at SUNY at Buffalo and a B.A. from SUNY at Binghamton. A solo practitioner since 1995, Ms. Baum's concentration in the area of employee benefits law in the context of divorce, a topic on which she is a frequent lecturer, has earned her the title "QDRO Queen" among the local matrimonial bar. Listed in Who's Who in American Women and Who's Who in American Law, Ms. Baum is active in a host of professional and community organizations of which WBASNY is pleased to be included.
