Carol A. Condon

CAROL CONDON, Past Chapter President, graduated from the University of Buffalo with a double major in History and American Studies and received her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Buffalo, School of Law in 1982. After graduating from law school, Ms. Condon went into private practice and later became a partner at the law firm of Moriarty & Condon. In October 1993, she established a solo practice specializing in the areas of Matrimonial and Family Law. Ms. Condon is a member of the Family Law Committees of Erie County, New York State and American Bar Associations.  She has served in WBASNY for many years, on both the state and local level.  At the state level, she served as representative to the State Matrimonial Committee and on the Board of Directors.  She was elected to two terms as Treasurer co‑chaired the Statewide Matrimonial Committee. At the local level, she co‑chaired the Chapter's Pro Bono Committee and was instrumental in the early development of the Lawyer's for Economic Progress project. Ms. Condon also served on the Chapter's Judiciary Committee, the Haven House project, the Legislative Committee, the Board of Directors and as President‑Elect.  In 1999, she received the Chapter's Achievement Award after years of dedicated service to WBASNY. She is a frequent speaker for professional and civic groups on topics related to Matrimonial and Family Law and has published articles on Family Law.
