Linda J. Marsh
LINDA J. MARSH, Past Chapter President, is a partner in the law firm of Ziller, Marsh & Lang, LLP. Her law firm concentrates in civil litigation on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury law. Ms. Marsh's areas of practice include labor law, products liability, municipal liability, automobile accidents and medical malpractice. Before joining the Ziller, Marsh & Lang law firm, Ms. Marsh was a partner with the law firm of Smith, Murphy & Schoepperle, which she joined in 1978 following graduation from the University at Buffalo Law School. Ms. Marsh is a founding member of the Western New York Chapter of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York. She has served as President, Co‑Chair of the 1993 Convention Programs Committee and Chair of the Judiciary Committee in 1986 and 1987. Ms. Marsh is a past director of the Erie County Bar Association and has been active in the Negligence Committee, Medical Jurisprudence Committee, Practice and Procedure Committee, Ad Hoc Jury Project Committee and the Judiciary Committee. Ms. Marsh also is a director of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Marsh was a director of the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association. She also has been a member of the Eighth Judicial District Advisory Council since its inception, and was the Chair of the Subcommittee on the Jury System and is the present Chair of the Subcommittee on Educating Schools and Civic Groups about the Judicial Branch. Ms. Marsh also is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. She is a frequent speaker and presenter of topics of civil practice including products liability, medical malpractice, and conduct of civil litigation.
