 SHERI L. MOONEY, Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair, is a partner in the litigation department at Damon & Morey LLP where she focuses her practice in the area of personal injury defense and school law. A graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School, Mooney has also earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario and obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration, with honors, from Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. A past president of our Chapter, she has served in many other capacities at the State and local levels, including co-chair of the statewide Nominations Committee and currently as co-chair of the statewide Awards Committee. Mooney is a director for the UB Law Alumni Association and a member of the Mentoring Committee for the Law School's first year mentorship program. Additionally, she serves on the Everywoman Opportunity Center Nominations Committee and the Bar Association of Erie County's Civility Committee. Most recently, Mooney was named one of the Buffalo Business First's Forty Under Forty. She resides in Orchard Park with her husband, Joe, their new daughter, Clare, and their golden retriever, Jasper.
