Shari Jo Reich


SHARI JO REICH, Past Chapter President and Treasurer, has been actively involved with WBASNY for many years and on many levels, having also served as a State Director, Local Director, and Co‑Chair of both the Western New York Chapter Legislative Committee and the Membership Committee. A native of Buffalo, Ms. Reich is a magna cum laude graduate of SUNY at Albany, where she received simultaneous honors from the Political Science Department.  She earned her law degree in 1986 from the University at Buffalo Law School,  and was awarded the Order of the Barrister.  She also received a Law School Award for proficiency in Estates and Surrogate’s Law.  An accomplished solo practitioner who began her legal career with the offices of Paladino, Cavan and Quinlivan, Ms. Reich opened her own law office in 1990, and practices in the fields of matrimonial and family law, real property, collections, gay/lesbian legal issues, estates and wills and personal bankruptcy. In 1994, together with colleague Thomas J. Eoannou, she purchased the Cornell Mansion in the historic Allentown section of Buffalo, and in 1999, she and Mr. Eoannou purchased the Littell Building in Allentown, where she now maintains her office.  Ms. Reich sits on the board of directors of several not‑for‑profit organizations, and has taught at a local college and the University at Buffalo Law School.
