Women's Bar Association of the State of New York
KAREN RICHARDSON, Past-President of the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, is Law Clerk to the Hon. H. Kenneth Schroeder, Jr., Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, Western District of New York. She is a former Court Attorney to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department and a former Associate of Phillips, Lytle, LLP. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and the American University School of International Service, Washington, D.C.
Karen is currently the President of the Mental Health Association of Erie County, Inc. She remains active with the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association as Chair of the Awards Committee and Long Range Planning Committee. At the State level, Karen continues to Co-Chair WBASNY’s Health Law Committee. She also remains active with the Women Physician/Attorney Task Force, a collaboration between the Medical Society of the County of Erie and the WNY Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association, which she has supported since its inception in 2004.
