GINGER D. SCHRÖDER, Past Chapter President, is a partner in the law firm Schröder, Joseph & Associates, a boutique law firm limited to the practice of management side labor, employment and employee benefits law as well as complex commercial litigation.  Ms. Schroder’s labor and employment practice concentrates on representing management in a wide variety of employment issues, including but not limited to sexual harassment, equal pay, gender, age and disability discrimination matters and wrongful termination cases involving statutory rights.  She also regularly handles ERISA lawsuits, FMLA disputes, Older Workers’ Benefit Protection Act issues, constitutional civil rights, and traditional labor matters such as collective  bargaining, arbitration, fact finding and administration matters.

 

Ms. Schroder has significant trial experience and is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in New York, the United State’s Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.  She regularly practices before other district courts in other states as well as a number of administrative agencies including the NLRB, PERB, EEOC and NYSHRD.  Ms. Schroder is  also a 1998 Business First “Forty Under 40” honoree, and an Adjunct Professor at UB’s School of Law
